Our History
Richard and Joanna Archer had been working in the copier/fax business over twenty years for other companies. Then in November 2002 they began their own business – Archer Business Systems, Inc. with the goal of becoming the best copiers/fax company in the Rio Grande Valley.
To accomplish this goal – In December 2002 they hired the experienced sales and service team they had worked with for the past fifteen years – Rosendo Garza, Curtis Neeley, Ruben Gallegos, Gary Carranza and Joe Mercado. And together they were able to attain the success they had hoped for!
In April of 2003 Archer Business Systems, Inc. became an authorized Sharp copier and fax dealer. Shortly thereafter, Archer Business Systems, Inc. became #8 in the nation and # 1 in Texas in their dealer size category.
Backed by an award winning line Sharp copiers and fax machines – their goal was, and still is, to provide a product and service customers want because it has a quality that surpassed all others, as well as become a business that is successful and respected by our customers and our community.
Our Business
Archer business Systems, Inc. now has over 20 employees with two retail locations to serve their growing customer base. Our main office is located at 717 N. 77 Sunshine Strip in Harlingen and our second location is at 1213 E Hackberry in McAllen. We also have a 4000 square foot warehouse in Harlingen as well as a climate controlled parts and supply warehouse in Brownsville. In order to satisfy our customer’s needs we maintain a large inventory of parts, supplies and equipment, as well as a usual response time of two hours to most of our customers.
The combination of experienced sales and service personnel, a substantial local inventory of parts, supplies and equipment, as well as an excellent response time appears to be the winning combination that customers are looking for.
